Film Analysis of "Chintu Ka Birthday"

Basically I am going to discuss 2 of my favourite moments in this film.

In the time, full of Thriller/Crime series, you need to see one of the most beautiful Indian drama stories. Based on the Indian family left by the Indian Government as they do have Nepal passport, living in Iraq during American-Iraq War wanted to make a happy birthday of their six-year-old, the youngest family member named - Chintu. Writer - Satyanshu Singh and Devanshu Kumar Director - Satyanshu Singh and Devanshu Kumar

D.O.P - Siddharth Diwan Editor - Charu Shree Roy This film is a full emotional package. You can start relating to the family instantly. By the end of 10 minutes, Act 1 is established, like Who they are? What they want?. You will never realize when this movie ends. BOOM, it's over, and you won't even stand from your chair. Don't stand. Let me feel the emotions.

It is not just a Chintu's Birthday. Its a birthday celebrated by the whole family. Everyone is excited to celebrate a birthday and trying to doing whatever they can from their end. The editor has done a great job. You can see that she cut at precise points and maintains the film's pace, like in the room when Madan is with Soldiers and convinces them. We mostly see Madan talking to them, not cut to soldiers every time as she wanted us to feel about helpless Madan. She placed the reactions of people at particular times and gave them time. Their responses are ours too i.e., audience.

1. Madan - The Dealer

The talk in this room when the father of Chintu convince Soldiers that Please let chintu cut his cake first and then do whatever you want(No Spoiler) is a room where every father away from his home alone do this for their children and family daily. He convinces daily from day to day life to different types of people and has done many unfavorable deals. Just because his family can enjoy or love in peace, children can enjoy and get whatever they want. We can never figure out how much our father did to us, even if it is about a single penny.

2. Madan - The Lord of Love

Before he said, “I know you are not bad people” to soldiers. It is mentioned in the film that how Americans destroy more than Saddam in Iraq. But Still, our Madan “God of Love” finds love in the soldiers and makes them also realize that no one is bad. It is a situation that makes them good or bad. Humanity exists.
