STORY

Beni ( Manav Kaul ) is an aspiring and trained musician, learnt from his father, living in a Shimla with his sister Urmi and Widow mother. He went to Mumbai but came back because of his death of father. He is passionate to go to Mumbai and be a part of Bollywood Music industry. Like every second Common Middle class man, he has to take care of his family needs like sister's marriage which is the major taboo that it is an important responsibility of everyone except her. So he started to take music tuition where he met Jyotsana (Amrita Bagchi). He started to teach her music and become good friends and she fell in love with him. But Beni was confused between love and his dream. Jyotsana won Music Talent award and got the letter from Mumbai which was his dream to got a letter for him, but she doesn't want to leave him. Beni thought if she will go and get a good name in Mumbai then she will get good number of contacts which will be beneficial for him and his dream can become true. And so she left. After 8 years,

Jyotsana earned a great name in Bollywood and she never replied back to Beni. Beni's behaviour changed a lot, he was confused that why he is not happy now. Is it his dreams or love of Jyotsana? may be both. He has his neighbour named Geeta, whose husband doesn't live with her. So she used to like him and want to go ahead the friendship. He got intimate with her because of her seduction. She wants to live with him but he still miss Jyotsana. One day he got to know that Jyotsana hava a concert in Shimla and she is coming. First he thought he wont meet her, but later he realised that he cant live without meeting her. He told the truth to Geeta that they cant be together because he still loves Jyotsana. He went to her show and meet her after the show and there the magic begins. Best scene of the movie comes where they both had a conversation which was very realistic without the any part of Bollywood masala film. Is she convinced or not? Watch it.

Kitna mushkil hai tumse milna... aur yeh keh pana ki... Jyotsana tumse bht pyaar krta hoon yaar

aapke jane ke baad pata hai kya hua... wo bholi si.. masum si.. junaid... mar gyi

Creative Part The best part of the film is screenplay. Two timelines are running parallely with the difference of 8 years, in which Beni always thinks about the past. Each transitions are very smooth and shuttle based to environment like raining, objects like pots, sometimes just dialogues. etc. Soundtrack is like the heartbeat of the film. Maa - khane mein kya khayega?

Beni (take pause and say) - Jo bhi dena hai dedo... waise bhi maine marzi ka kab chuna hai? SUPPORT INDIE ARTIST
